The IMX-4E1 8/6 managed inverse multiplexer enables splitting and transmitting a high-speed data channel of up to 8/6 Mbps over (up to) four E1/T1 links. IMX-4E1 8/6 managed inverse multiplexer spans the bandwidth gap between E1/T1 and E3/T3, providing increased bandwidth where services higher than E1/T1 are either not available or too expensive. The IMX-4E1 and 8/6 managed inverse multiplexer has a built-in 10/100 Ethernet bridge with VLAN support for LAN-to-LAN applications over four E1 or four T1 links.
