The FCD-2L E1 or Fractional E1 access unit is an economical single port access unit for E1 or Fractional E1 services. The unit can also be used as a rate or interface converter between the user data interface port and the E1 line. Alternatively, an Ethernet bridge, providing direct connection to the LAN, can replace the data port. The FCD-2L E1 or Fractional E1 access unit can be equipped with or without a Line Termination Unit (LTU).
