The AG-24/30/48/60 boards have the following features:

* DSP resources

Each board has at least six Digital Signal Processor chips (DSPs), designed to perform the calculations required for voice processing.

* ISA bus connectivity

Each board is designed to reside in a single ISA bus slot.

* MVIP bus connectivity

The AG-24/30/48/60 boards can be connected to an MVIP-90 telephony bus cable, which allows boards to share data and signaling information with other boards on the MVIP bus. Since AG-24/30/48/60 boards do not have a switch block, DSP resources are nailed up to telephony bus streams at board initialization.

All AG boards are controlled by a common board driver, configured by a single AG configuration file (ag.cfg), and are loaded and initialized with the same utility program, agmon.
