Wavestar Series
The field-proven WaveStar ADM 16/1 system supports STM-16 applications in the network's metro, core and backbone layers. It provides the ability to add, drop and flexibly cross-connect 2 Mbps directly from the STM-16 level and supports a large variety of configurations, including 1+1 Terminal, 1x0 Terminal, Add/Drop Multiplexer Ring closure and small Local Cross-connect. When equipped with the TransLAN Card, the WaveStar ADM 16/1 becomes a multi-service network element providing bandwidth-efficient transport of both data and voice over SDH.
