The Alcatel-Lucent 9600 DTH is for the broadcasting of Mobile Digital Television to handheld terminals based on the DVB-H ETSI standard in the UHF bands IV and V (470 - 862 MHz). This family of digital transmitters have an output power ranging from 10 W up to 2.5 kilowatts thus enabling scalable deployment scenarios and various coverage solutions depending on the area profile and penetration targets. The 9600 DTH offers a choice of backhaul options and management interfaces for easy integration into existing mobile telecommunications networks and sites. It is also a key component of the Alcatel-Lucent Unlimited Mobile TV solution which also includes the hybrid satellite-terrestrial DVB-SH based offering.
